What should people look out for when viewing a house with a London Property Search Agent and what should they compromise on?

We would always recommend engaging a surveyor, as well as a London Property Search Agent, to establish the building’s structural integrity but before doing so, and incurring professional fees, do look for obvious signs of damp, structural cracks and the general condition of the property.
Beyond that assess the property for how it will meet your needs today and how it might be adapted to meet your needs in the future.  Compromise on things you can change over time and challenge yourself to be flexible on things you think are ‘must-haves’ or ‘absolutely nots’.
