The Challenge
Our clients were looking to move from a large family house in Islington to create an exciting central London home. Being property professionals they wanted to acquire a commercial building for which they could secure change of planning use and they were open to many central London locations.
The Result
We searched across Notting Hill, Holland Park, Bayswater, St James, Westminster and Pimlico identifying commercial buildings that looked suitable for redevelopment and transformation into an exciting London home. We undertook Land Registry searches and approached owners directly to investigate purchase opportunities. After an extensive search, we identified a fine 1920s office building with the potential to extend vertically. Our clients created a wonderful home and realised substantial value through change of planning use and excellent quality of design and construction. This search reminds us how, with focus and effort, we can deliver on even the most difficult and speculative of client briefs.
