Our brief was to find a large and ideally wide Georgian property to suit clients with an exacting eye for architectural detail.
Our search spanned Stockwell, Kennington, Camberwell and Peckham and concluded successfully with the acquisition of a Grade II Listed gem of a house in Clapham Old Town. The house benefited from off-street parking for our clients’ electric car, side access to the garden and had been developed to almost turnkey condition. With wonderful wide proportions, the house suited our clients perfectly. They particularly valued the expansive entertaining space, the grand master suite and en-suite bedrooms to accommodate their relatives visiting from abroad. After successfully negotiating the price there followed a lengthy and tenuous path to exchange of contracts which required us to negotiate price reductions up and down the chain to facilitate the deal.
