OUR CHALLENGE

To find a pied-a-terre in a vibrant area suitabe for occasional holiday lets.

THE RESULT

Our search spanned Notting Hill, Holland Park, Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge. We sent updates on each area of focus, agreed a shortlist and scheduled tours of each area viewing the shortlisted properties. We identified a handful of properties for second viewings and negotiated the acquisition of a fine Grade II Listed property on Walton Street.

We did not agree with the £2.65m asking price nor were we persuaded by the selling agents assurance the vendor would not accept much below asking price. We acquired the flat at £2.2m thereby achieving a £450k discount from the asking price.

Our client will be embarking on a sentitive restoration of the property with an architect we recommended. We are looking forward to seeing the transformation.
